What will you do
Social Media Editors spend their time mostly building, managing and improving the digital image of companies. You will work closely with marketeers, content creators, bloggers and content writers to create engaging content. By tracking what users are interested in, you will help set the tone and direction of social media outreach at several companies. As a Social media editor you will reach out to social media users to better understand their interests, hobbies, and needs. You will help create surveys with other social media professionals, taking data and using it to determine the kinds of interactions users today expect from social media. And you will be engaging with users/readers/commenters on behalf of the organisation and encouraging them to become more involved
You will also create strategies to introduce users to relevant content, and track how that content affects customer journey. If you find that users aren't engaging in quality social interaction more regularly, you will adjust the methods and continue tracking changes.

What will you do
As a Digital Consultant on the Sales & Marketing Department, you carry the responsibility for a number of clients whom you advise about the best services mix for achieving their commercial objectives. As Digital Consultant you advise which online media channels are the most effective for a good return on investment and in addition you plan and manage client campaigns. As part of the team you'll be responsible for a number of projects and you'll work closely with clients to advise on all aspects of their digital marketing strategy.

Position Overview
The title of the Digital Project manager at Spang Makandra is " Realize Agent". The Realize Agent is a key member of the Spang Makandra production team. He/She is responsible for planning and executing projects according to deadlines within the budget. He/She must possess a clear definition of the project’s objectives and must be able to oversee quality control throughout its lifecycle, ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
» Managing Incoming Projects
- View the project's budget and scope (in Waypoint) before the planning stage of the project.
- Communicate the Planning of the project with its deadlines to the client after the project approval by sales department.
- Perform a Q.A ( Quality Assurance) on all updates of the project before the client is notified.
- Monitor the project closely and stay in constant communication (through email and telephone). If the planning of a project has changed due to unforeseen circumstances, an updated version of the planning must be sent to the client.
- Keep project board updated so that there is a clear view of which tasks are allocated to which resources.
- Document task and time effectively in the project management Software Waypoint so that all team members have a clear view of the budget status.
- On every first working day of the week, provide Production iterations on task that have to be completed that week
» Managing Social Media Accounts
- Prepare monthly reports for the social media clients
- Perform a Q.A on social media visuals and text before they are posted.
- Participate in creative sessions where ideas on upcoming posts are decided
- Recommend different types of social media campaigns that can be done for various clients
- View “Social Media Mood Board” on a daily basis to ensure that all tasks are completed by social media editors
- Present a social iteration to the social team on the first working day of the week showing tasks that have to be completed that week.
» Managing Helpdesk Tasks
- Quality Assured all updates placed on websites by the helpdesk team
- Prioritize and execute projects according to the urgency and available resources.

As a webdeveloper you're responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites and mobile apps, from layout to function and according to a client's specifications. Strive to create visually appealing websites and mobile apps,that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. You'll have regular exposure to business stakeholders and executive management, as well as the authority and scope to apply your expertise to many interesting technical problems. The position requires constant communication with colleagues.
What qualifications do you need
» At least a bachelor's degree in ICT, software engineering or computer science.
» 2+ years’ experience in application development and testing. Ability to create support documentation for all new applications. Strong teamwork skills.
